This curriculum guides advanced learners through the societal and organisational consequences of leadership calibre. It moves from humanity, social values and the defence of values into political conflict, spheres of influence, the PVL framework and the case for a Positive Value Society. Each module supports senior reflection on Integrous Leadership and responsibility beyond self-interest.
Designed for postgraduate-level learners, senior professionals, established managers, institutional leaders or those with equivalent professional experience. Learners should be capable of advanced reflection, applied judgement, independent research, and critical engagement with Positive Value Leadership and Integrous Leadership. They must be able to manage sustained self-directed study, participate in required tutorials, and apply the framework to organisational or societal leadership contexts.
Dates are shown in chronological order. Induction may take place before the formal course start. Where assessment applies, IOWL shows an assessment window rather than a single fixed sitting.
Tutorials: 3 live tutorials required during the course.
Tutorial dates are scheduled across the learning period and confirmed through My World and course communications.
Calibre Credit assessments normally operate within a defined assessment window, allowing eligible learners to take the examination at a suitable point during that period.
The curriculum moves from principle to practice, helping learners connect values, behaviour, influence and responsibility through structured online learning, reflection and tutorial engagement.
This module examines the value of humanity and the wider leadership deficit facing society. Learners explore personal and societal values, the moral maze, the fight-or-flight response to values conflict, and how leaders may defend values actively or passively.
This module explores how humanity can be given value in contexts of political, historical and social conflict. Learners consider the impact of values over time, the challenge of remaining resolute when values are dismissed, and the responsibility of leaders to act with principled judgement.
This module examines the multiverse of influence and what happens when spheres of influence collide. Learners consider whether influence can merge, bounce or burst, and how organisational, social and personal spheres can affect wider society.
This module applies the Positive Value Leadership framework to society and humanity. Learners examine the idea of an exemplary society, the role of Positive Leadership Values, and the consequences that values have for social capital, human impact and public trust.
This module explores the value of a Positive Value Society. Learners examine values versus profit, Management by Values compared with Management by Objectives, and how to build a credible case for Positive Value Leadership in business and society.
This module consolidates the Capstone pathway by considering how values-led leadership becomes embedded in judgement, habit and identity. Learners reflect on how advanced leaders can move beyond episodic ethical choices towards consistent, integrous practice in organisational and societal contexts.
Successful learners on this assessed professional pathway receive a set of documents that evidence professional standing, Calibre Credits™ and their continuing Passport of Probity™ record.
