The IOWL Calibre Issue and Solution Map An interactive issue-led map connecting recurring problems in politics, government, business, industry, work, education, society and the environment to IOWL Positive Value Leadership Exemplars, Positive Values, Calibre and Perpetual Calibre Development.
IOWL issue map | Version 5

From recurring issue to values-led response

The map explores recurring failures of judgement, integrity, information, humanity, inclusion and participation across politics, government, business, industry, work, education, society and the environment. It then identifies the relevant Positive Value Leadership™ Exemplars and Positive Values, and explains how PVL and Perpetual Calibre Development™ are intended to address or mitigate the underlying Calibre failure.

Important: this is an IOWL issue-to-response framework. It does not claim that PVL has independently proven that it eliminates corruption, polarisation, poor governance, unsafe practice or other complex societal problems. The map identifies a structured developmental response and makes the proposed relationship open to evaluation.

How to read the issue map

The map deliberately separates the problem from the developmental response. Issues are not reduced to a single value, and the presence of a relevant Positive Value is not presented as proof of causal resolution.

Publication discipline: the Exemplar statements and 24 Positive Value definitions are locked IOWL source text. The issue taxonomy, mappings and mitigation explanations are analytical IOWL working propositions and should be evaluated rather than treated as independently established causal findings.
